Failure of a mechanized gantry system caused the explosive release of over a ton of molten salt.

Compounding Issue

Disaster recovery services had to be performed above live molten salt tanks.

Result

URI developed a cleaning protocol which ensured safety while returning the facility to working condition. Services included: business continuity, fire & smoke damage, and machinery & electronics cleaning.
