René Carter Announced as IREM West-Central Maryland Chapter 92 Volunteer Industry Partner of the Year

BALTIMORE, MD – René Carter, Senior Account Executive at Unlimited Restoration, Inc. (URI), has been announced as Volunteer Industry Partner of the Year for 2023 by the IREM West-Central Maryland Chapter 92.

Carter’s award was announced at the IREM West-Central Maryland Chapter 92 November Dinner Meeting held Wednesday, November 8^th at Pinstripes in North Bethesda, MD. The Installation of 2024 Officers and the 2023 Chapter Awards were all celebrated at the event, including a $12,000 donation to the Maryland Food Bank.

URI was proud to serve as a sponsor for the event and has served as an industry partner for the Chapter for over 18 years. Thank you to JoAnn Maguire, CPM, immediate past President, for her two years of leadership and commitment to the chapter. Congratulations to Christina Martin, CPM, who was installed as the IREM West-Central MD 2024 Chapter President and to all 10 of the new Chapter Directors installed at the event Wednesday evening.

Carter is a tenured member of IREM 92, having joined the group in November 2009. Her commitment to community service far exceeds her involvement with just the IREM West-Central Maryland Chapter, but she is incredibly active with volunteer opportunities associated with the chapter. This year, IREM hosted a Regional Community Action Challenge, a 3-month challenge to give back to our local communities through meaningful and fun volunteer work. Four local IREM Chapters participated in the regional event, including: IREM 8 (the DC Chapter), IREM 16 (the Maryland Chapter), IREM 77 (the Northern Virginia Chapter), and IREM 92 (the West-Central Maryland Chapter). Carter achieved the most points for the IREM 92 Chapter and came in second place overall amongst all four chapter participants for the 2023 challenge.
